There is a difference between an informative website and a landing page. The difference is one is a salesman, and the other is not.
When you scroll through a business’s website, you are typically looking for information on the products and services offered. The problem is most websites do not instruct the visitor what to do once they are satisfied with the information on the site. These instructions that direct the website visitor to perform a specific task is called a call to action.
Call to actions are essential for selling your products and services. The reason call to actions are so vital to a website is because without one a websites conversion rate will be dramatically affected and lost an uncountable amount of leads/sales throughout its life. In the long run, not implementing compelling call to actions on your multiple landing pages will result lost revenue from potential customers.
Call to Actions come in several forms. For instance, newsletter sign-ups, call now buttons, buttons to redirect you to a contact page, add to cart buttons, and more. The base principal of call to actions is for your website visitor to interact with your business online in a way that will allow your company to profit from that website visitor.
