Social Media is Extremely Underutilized

There are many avenues in which to expand your outreach. Out of all of them, I would have to say social media is one of the best and most cost-efficient ways to grow your businesses recognition.

Social Media is Great Because of How Inexpensive it is

When you want to get your name out there on a budget, I always recommend social media. For instance, I currently have a client who mainly markets his apparel through Instagram. He leverages great photo content to promote his brand and spends hours following people to get those juicy follow backs. He is able to link the web store I designed for him in his Instagram bio where his followers go to purchase his apparel. Notice, not once did I mention anything about a pay per click advertisement or anything of the sort.

It is all achieved with a little creativity and elbow grease, not a marketing budget.

It All Starts with A Little Content

You cannot expect success without offering something for your audience to look at. This is where quality content comes in. And yes quality trumps quantity every time in this case. Do not bother posting every single day if you are posting mediocre content.

Post quality only a few times a week consistently and your outreach will be greater than a mediocre social media page that posts every day.

Now start posting quality content and spend a few hours a day following others and you will see growth.

Once your growth has reached a decent volume, you can begin directing people to your website where your CTAs will pick up a portion of your traffic and convert them into paying customers.

Remember, it is not rocket science, it just takes work.
